Accommodation

We have larger than average runs with comfortable, centrally heated chalets. Double size runs are available for bigger families. Chalets are furnished with beds with cosy blankets and some toys to keeps your cats amused.

Health & Hygiene

Each run is separated from the next so there is no direct contact between cats from different families.

The accommodation is cleaned to a high standard daily and disinfected between bookings. Our system ensures that the possibility of any infections being passed between cats is minimised and we are proud of our record in keeping our boarders healthy and contented.

All cats must be vaccinated against feline flu and enteritis before boarding and we must have sight of their vaccination record upon arrival.

Feeding

We normally feed the cats twice daily – morning and evening – but are happy to feed kittens, old cats and cats with special needs as often as needed. We supply only premium (branded) wet and dry foods plus tuna, fish and chicken etc. Cats are treated as individuals and we will keep to their usual food as far as possible. The cost of food for regular diets is included in the boarding charge but speciality or prescription foods will need to be provided and no discount is given in that case.

Looking to adopt a Cat?

img2-5The animal rescue group “Rescued Animals In Need” (RAIN) always have cats and (often) kittens looking for good homes – take a look at their website. We board some cats and kittens for the charity so if you are interested in adopting then get in touch with RAIN and then you can make an appointment to come and see them.

As you may notice on the RAIN website, the majority of the cats currently looking for homes are black or black and white. This is partly because they are more common and partly because they often  lose out on a home to the “pretty” cats such as gingers or tabbies.  It is sad for us to see cats with such lovely personalities losing out simply because of their colour so please do consider them.  In fact, there are at least five very good reasons to do so :

5.    You will save ££s on their Halloween costumes.
4.    You can always find them in the snow.
3.    Holding a black cat is very slimming.
2.    A black cat is warmer on your lap.

But the number one reason to adopt a black cat is….

  1.    They are the least likely to be offered a home.
